Vote Ryan Mastromatteo for Ward 3 Councillor in Haldimand

You Shouldn’t Have to Chase Your Councillor for Answers

Caledonia isn’t just where I work, it’s where I’ve built my life. I’m a husband, a father, and I run a home renovation business where my reputation depends on showing up and doing what I say I will.

That’s the standard I’ll hold myself to as your councillor.

I didn’t set out to run for council. This came from what I kept hearing around town, on job sites, in driveways, and day-to-day conversations with people. I kept hearing the same concerns, over and over. Decisions feel like they’re made without people being part of them. Updates come late, if at all. And getting a straight answer can feel harder than it should be.

Too many people feel like they only hear from their councillor when it’s time to ask for a vote. That’s not how this should work.

Caledonia is growing fast. Growth isn’t the problem. But when development moves quicker than roads, schools, and services can handle, people feel it. And it’s not just what happens inside Ward 3. Decisions made in other parts of Haldimand County don’t stay there. Growth in places like Nanticoke and Hagersville brings more traffic and more pressure onto Caledonia’s roads and infrastructure.

That’s where I draw the line.

I’m running to make sure your voice is part of the decisions being made, not something that gets considered after the fact. That means asking questions early, pushing back when something doesn’t make sense, and making sure you’re not left chasing answers about your own community.

No games. No runaround. Just clear communication, follow-through, and accountability.

Ward 3 deserves someone who listens, speaks plainly, and actually follows through. That’s the job. I’m ready to do it.

Built on Trust. Focused on Ward 3.
